FAG BIOsClarence was a pumper in the oil fields. He and Gertrude were married 10 Sep 1936. They had five children, the first of whom was a daughter who died at birth.
Gertrude was known to be able to prepare a meal at a moments notice. Just throw in another potato and add another cup of water. She was known for her gracious hospitality. It's a known fact that card games would go on all night long. She fell from a chair while pregnant with her first child and gave birth to a baby girl, prematurely. OBITUARYHOISINGTON — Steven Bradley Crawford, 63, died April 1, 2012 at his residence in Hoisington. Born Aug. 9, 1948 in Russell, he was the son of John A. and Helen (Hamilton) Crawford. A resident of Hoisington since 2008, coming from the state of Washington, he was a retired chef and a jack-of-all-trades. Mr. Crawford was a member of the Church of God in Hoisington. His hobby was cooking.
He was preceded in death by his father and a brother Larry Crawford.Survivors include his mother, Helen Baker, Warsaw, MO; a son, Larry Crawford and wife Melissa, Great Bend; a daughter, Kimberley Sue Potts and husband Randy, Salina; two sisters, Crystal Hoch, Hoisington and Carolyn Sue Smith, Kansas City; and six grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date as cremation has taken place. Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association in care of the funeral home. OBITUARY
Edna K.
(Betty) Trout, 89, a resident of the
Oil City Presbyterian Home, passed away peacefully
on Wed., Dec. 12, 2012 at 10:40 A.M. at the
Titusville Area Hospital with her son and daughter
at her side. Born in Oil City, PA, on July
12, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Edward
J. (Ham) and Georgia Sager Kresinske. Betty
was married at St. Joseph Rectory in Oil City on
Oct. 21, 1944 to Eugene C. Trout, and he
preceded her in death on Jan. 29, 2010. A
Memorial Service will be held at the convenience
of the family early next year. Survivors
include a daughter, Roberta T. Fulton of
Ruckesville,VA, and a son, Steven Trout
of Tionesta.
